This line did not generate an error in Comet 16 or 32. And, a "good" OBJ was created as if JDESC$ was not in the code.

500 FORMAT JOB$;HIST$JDESC$;REG1;OT1;DT1;LAMT1;MAMT1;SAMT1;RAMT1
