No. It's been running on a dell powerEdge 2600 for 6 months win2k server.
I've downgraded the server to 403 which seems to run 3.07 security server. I'm going to wait on moving the usb plug. It's very unlikely that it's a hardware failure, too much of a coincidence. As far as reinstalling the driver 405 seems to do that by itself. This is the second machine I've upgraded with the 405 install shield. The install shield prompts you that it is going to install. I tell it go, reboot and CometService is uninstalled by the installer. I install again, and Comet Service is back. I meant to ask about that, it would be nice for a heads up on the install. something like you must uninstall cometServer before you can upgrade, as a warning.
