I'm still trying to find a answer for you. This is a bit embarrassing. I find several places in utilities that limit the printer name to 40 characters. SYSGEN allows more than that. I believe Comet allows more than 40 also. Still perhaps the fastest way for you to get on is to change the name in Windows to something shorter.
