I agree this problem has been ongoing for awhile now. It seems the latest version of CometPDF has corrected the problem with bad pdf's and the only remaining problem is the generation of the tiff via the virtual tiff imaging printer (Universal Document Converter). I thought maybe launching it another way might resolve the problem. What we've ended up doing is trying a different product (TIFF Image Printer 10.0) and so far so good. I have suggested they try an email to fax service, we'll have to see.
