0378-037F is the correct range for the port. Do you by chance have a printer connected to the port? If so, does the Security Server work if the printer is removed? If so, does it work if the printer is attached and online? If the Security Server still cannot find the plug, the problem may be the ECP port. You can change the BIOS settings to have the port behave like a standard printer port. Maybe that will help.
