Ha! That's it! The clue about the blank field helped a lot. My test program for Louisa's problem dutifully filled in a value for all the fields and worked just fine.
Now we have to see what we can do about it....
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
