Here's my GETCOUNT program. You won't need my boilerplate INC file.

PRINT(#) 'RCVHISTB'
ENTER 'GETCOUNT'
INPUT (#) TOTREC

Very handy for determining if a file is empty. And, as the base for Progress bars.
