My installations are totally without tweaks. Just using vanilla TCP/IP. This is an intel quad core box running at 2.66GHz.
I do have Comet Serve software installed as a service here. My configuration uses UNC folder designations. Those are translated into local drive letter designations in the comet log. I am using version 14.0 of the server software and 488 of comet.
Note: with sufficient memory and disk caching, I think all disk traffic for test4 will be to/from memory. I am not entirely sure of that, but it just makes sense to me.
Comet has nothing to do with access or SQL.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
