3rd try.
WAKEUP in Comet32 doesn't work as it does in Comet16. I don't think Comet16 works the way it should but it works.
WDL program that updates transactions that come into a work file then goes to sleep for two minutes and looks to see if anything new has come in.
1) Program starts
2) User clicks PROCEED button
3) GOSUB containing the WAKEUP starts
4) Update/Wait cycle begins. 2 minutes during business hours.
The program needs to be stopped.
Comet16.
5) User clicks CANCEL button.
6) WDL close routine runs. Screen clears.
7) Program returns to Menu or READY.
The GOSUB and WAKEUP have been POP'd without any program instructions.
Comet32
5) User clicks CANCEL button.
6) WDL close routine runs. Screen clears.
7) Menu or READY never appear.
8) STATUS shows program stuck at the WAKEUP.
9) Even when the time expires the WAKEUP doesn't release.
Need a way to "POP" the WAKEUP so that the program will close.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
