There's another way to create new Comet directories. Create the folder in Windows. Then at the READY prompt of QMONITOR you can ACCESS it with the "dir=" option. It will create the QDIR if necessary. Here's an example of what to type at READY:
a 30,mmm dir=c:\comet\mmm
a is for ACCESS; 30 is the DAB number; mmm is the dir name
