Looks like you've found a bug specific to the copy of object files. An object file always has a ".obj" extension, so the one you tried to assign was ignored. This effectively wrote over the original QDIR entry and thus caused your problem. We'll fix the utility to prevent you from doing that. In the meantime, copy your object file to a new name without an extension.
