Curious. When the session closes you should see "Detach initiated" in the Comet log. Looks like that was the case for several sessions after about one minute of processing. Then the disconnects stop. Have you noticed a pattern about how many times it works before stopping? You could open the whole Comet.log and check previous days. Also, when you log on to the host do you see that the Comet windows have been left open? They may be down on the task bar. If not, check Task Manager and see if there are still CosW.exe entries for the jobs that should have disappeared.
