I believe CATEMP should be one level down from the Windows %temp% folder. In the Comet session window if you click on Edit->Directory Aliases you'll see that you can no longer modify the CATEMP path (a long, long time ago you could). The path for the LOGS folder can be changed by the user either from the Comet session (Edit->Directory Aliases) or by using the Windows environment variable %COMETDATA%.
