On Extended Key files, old KEYCHECK does not prompt for starting position and length.

CometEx's KEYCHECK has this mysterious "Key Field Information" area that doesn't seem to do anything. How does it work?

The file I want to check has a secondary key, the last 9 characters of which, is identical to the primary key. I like to somehow enter 76 and 9 and have KEYCHECK do that validation.

Baring a catastrophe, how is it possible for the primary key to be bad on an Extended Key file?
