(Shell Execute Wait) mnemonic

Whenever I use (ShellExecuteWait) I have a dummy input statement after.

I am not sure why - don't remember.

So my question is, what is this input collecting? Can the Executed program return something to Comet (like Success/Failure) ?

How does an external program "returns" something? In most case an home grown VB.net program.

There is nothing in the wiki documentation about (ShellExecuteWait) returning anything nor requiring a dummy input...
