Had to re-install a Comet server last week. New server does not have a parallel port. So ordered & installed a PCI Parallel Adapter Card (Startech # PCIPECP).
When I install the Comet Services, it asks for USB/Parallel and I choose Parallel.
CSecSrv does not detect the plug.
Port is working, have option to use IRQ or not - tried both, no luck. Windoze did assign IRQ 16 to this device.
Checked the configuration of Comet Services, nowhere does it specify that it should be using Parallel. I did notice that it installed the USB driver as well.
Where am I going wrong ?
Windows Server 2003, CometServer 5.08.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
