Something's wrong here and it could very well be me ;-) The legacy Reporter shouldn't be able to run on Comet32. The Report Editor is fine but when you go to run the report it will try to compile using the old 16-bit compiler and you should get E38. It's not possible to compile using the Comet16 compiler under Comet32. Also, the sort driver functionality inside of Comet16 has been replaced by a different method for Comet32.

Please email me your Comet.log showing activity during the running of one of your reports so I can solve this mystery at least for myself.
