Setting Printable Area Size

How can I set the printable area size for a printer?

If I use this command:
PRINT (LP) (TR);(GETPAGEINFO=PTR.PAGEINFO.PRINTABLESIZE)

On a laser printer, I'll get something like 11866x15466
On a PDF printer, I'll get 12240x15840

Because the PDF has a larger printable area, I'm trying to find a way to set the printable area for the PDF and make it smaller by using offsets, or margins, or something so that the printing using commands such as MOVETO, TEXTOUT, etc. will have consistent positioning for both the PDF printer and the laser printer.
