QDIR rebuild

The DIR, BOM, has been empty for a while. Nothing in the Windows folder but the two QDIR files. Why all the questions marks?

Tried to do a rebuild via CometEx. Doesn't work on an empty DIR.
Added one dummy file to get it working again. Annoying.
