Our client is running C2k3 on W2k Servers with W98SE stations. At random times, usually overnight but sometimes in the middle of the day, all jobs in random spools will disappear. The "SxxJOBS" file is empty and all the individual DOS "nnnnnnnn.Sxx" files in the SPL directory are gone as well. This does not happen across all spools, nor is there any pattern to it. I confirmed jobs in a given spool at 7pm that were gone by the following morning without any apparent access by anyone else.
Anyone else have this or similar problems? Any suggestions?
