running 2 comet host systems

is it possible to run 2 comet host systems in 2 different locations that can either share or sync the databases. Where i work we have 2 locations and one location the internet goes down from time to time and the other can not work so they go home.

i would like to put a host system in both locations and have them work together unless the internet is down in one location and when it is up sync back up.
