CometAnywhere Temp folder issue

Installing CometAnywhere on a Surface Pro 64-bit Win10 laptop. Have CometAnywhere installed and functioning, C2017 .512 Comet PDF installs and no documents appear. Logged in user is ShowRoomPC2. COSW.INI file sets up with CATOOLS folder showing as C:\Users\ShowRoomPC2\Temp\.... CATEMP shows path as C:\Users\ShowRo~1\Temp\.... When CometAnywhere starts up and I click on Directories, TMP shows up as C:\Users\Comet\Temp\.... a folder name that doesn't exist. Any way to fix this other than having IT set it up with an 8 character or less user name?
