Thanks. That helped a lot. The spreadsheet style does use the ",H" PRINTER option. I see what's going on. When the Reporter puts out a string fields for a csv record it surrounds it with double quotes. If the field contains one or more double quotes it changes it/them to single quotes to avoid confusion with the closing double quote around the entire field.

I'm unsure what the convention is for csv. One opinion I read suggests any double quotes in the data should be replaced with 2 double quotes which will be processed by the spreadsheet program and display as just one double quote. The Reporter has been doing it this way "forever". Is anyone else processing csv fields with double quotes? I'd hate to make a change now and break it for everyone else.
