"Screw-up" is a matter of interpretation :-) What actually happens when you use NOEXCP is the compiler automatically creates an internal statement label for the next IB instruction and then generates code as if you had used EXCP=next-instruction. Therefore, NOEXCP works exactly like EXCP except that you don't have to create the EXCP label to branch to. It DOES NOT ignore the error as I think you are expecting.
