Well, I wish it didn't.
The whole purpose of something like a NOEXCP statement is saying: I don't want an error and I really don't care about it - so just ignore it.
Which would make a lot of sense. If I really cared for this EXCP, I'd set my own trap.
It makes using and processing SNAPSHOT in a EXCP=33 loop extremely difficult. I would like my Master Processing program to be able to say: "User JOHN DOE on Node COMETXX is holding customer record ABC123" in real time.
I recently witness a record being held from 10am to 2pm on her "third screen". That held noon-time processes for a long time. I also saw a record being help from Friday 3pm to Monday 8:15.... There goes week-end processing...
I am in the process of implementing a routine that would report these and also allow processing to skip this record after so many retries.
So doing an AGAIN without using AGAIN is very tricky !
