Will Comet still run in a non-64 bit mode on Windows 10? I'm trying to set up a development environment, and having issues. I put Windows 10 32 bit (x86) on a laptop, and I'm trying to run Comet. If I run Comet32 (/32 option), Comet runs OK, even on the older 32 bit OS.
However, if I remove the /32 and try to run Comet16, I get the following error: "Unrecognized System Platform (Windows Version). An upgrade to Comet or Windows may be warranted". I also tried changing the compatibility settings with no luck. Is this message coming from Comet on startup, or is it running into a Comet32 program and throwing this message up? One weird note: When this message pops up, and I click behind it on the Comet startup Window "details", the second to last line says "Comet 2014 Version 614.491", which is odd. When i include the /32 option and run it, the log says "Comet Version - Comet32.521" Any help would be appreciated. My ultimate goal is to replicate an older Comet install on this laptop.
