As far as I know, if Comet has the file open then WHOHAS should detect it. If you situation is like the one I encounter all the time then here are the options. Users want their reports in CSV or tab-delimited in order to import into Excel.
If you create the file, close the program and the user does import the file and has it open in Excel if they simply leave it there as opposed to saving it under a different name or closing Excel, next run of the program will deliver E35. 1) Tell them to save it out under a different name or close Excel, 2) Create the file name with a system control sequence number that increments with every run.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
