In response to a problem reported by a Comet developer please note the following:

Problem:
When attempting to compile a IB program using UltraEdit displays the message "Unable to validate UserID".

Cause:
This problem is caused when there is no "COS" folder configured for the Comet node.

Solution:
Add a "COS" folder to your Comet configuration or wait for the next release of the Comet "REL" folder which will include a fix for this problem.
