Windows 7 upgrade needed

Customer has a stand alone Windows 7 Professional PC to run only Comet. Three workstations are attached to make a small a Windows network. Workstations are also running Windows 7 Professional. Customer wants to upgrade standalone server PC to a Windows 10. (Windows 7 do not have access to anything other than the Comet server Windows 7Professional). Does Comet care about the Windows versions of the clients or does it only care about the Windows version of the server?
(I assume it is only the server) Thank you.
