When I logged in this morning I found that both of our servers were down. The dongle server went down sometime on Saturday. There is forgiveness built in. As a matter of fact, right after I restarted the servers at 6:28am all the waiting virtual dongles began checking in. No other user reported any problems. The servers are located in San Francisco. The fact that they were down should not have caused this problem.
I would be leery of messing with the time on your server. The "orphan logout" algorithm is dependent on the time staying stable. If you suddenly change the clock you risk the Security Server thinking the orphan logout time interval expired and it will log Comet out.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
