multiple bcc records when emailing

I got the impression from the documentation that if you have to send a bcc copy to more than one person, that you can just issue separate bcc commands. However, the program stopped when it got to the 2nd bcc. Am I incorrect in my assumption? If so is there a way to send a 2nd bcc when emailing thru Comet?
