Robert,
I removed the 4.9 NetWare clients from the Windows 2000 PCs and installed the NetWare client 4.83 SP2 like you suggested. The Windows ME and Windows 98 PCs are running NetWare client 3.40.0.0.
It still blows up when they try to post RPU. The message is:
EXCP Error # 95 Next Key Unavailable for Deletion.
Current Program RPU1
Last Line 2 ROB1E . ; 'DSK'
Record Key *
Sys Function Delete
DOS Path N:\DPAC\DSK\ROA1E.I00
The files are owned by login ID office1 and Flag shows them to be RW SH. Even when login ID office1 tries to post it does not work.
Login ID office 1 is the only one running Comet 2004 .337/04.05 while all the others are running Comet 98 .293/02.01.
Does file ownership matter under NetWare 6.5? It never seem to matter under NetWare 3.12.
Is there any reason why NetWare 3.12 works perfectly (and has for years) and yet with NetWare 6.5 it does everything but post RPU?
Thank you. Any help would be appreciated.
