We have been having a strange problem at several of our installations. Comet runs fine most of the time. When a user leaves their workstation, or uses another program for a while, then comes back to comet, Comet is unresponsive. Then after a couple of seconds comet responds and behaves normally. These are Comet 2004 installations. One common factor is they were running Novell and switched servers to Windows. Windows server 2000 and 2003 shows the same symptom. One customer reports after upgrading the new server to 2 GB of RAM the problem went away. Is it possible we need that much ram in the system for 25 users? Anyone experience anything similar?
