Ok, so its something to do with the old binding, whatever that was. Library file name if object is bound. Bytes 5 & 6 of this field have data other than "@20@". In fact it would appear to be "0042" for a Keyed file, "0012" for a seq, "0082" for a Text & "0022" for a contiguous.
PROBLEM WAS NOT THERE IN C2K4.335 4.03.
