A customet of mine with 10 pc's running Win98 network using Comet2002 had a workstation PC die. She bought a new one with Windows XP SP 2. On firing it up the menu was corrupted from about half-way down the screen. The menu prints from a file, the file was nor corrupted as it worked fine on all the other PCs. After much fun I have found that bytes 464 & 465 are disappeariing. Call any file up in Maint and change and write back the record and it slowly gobbles up the information fron there on. This happens live & over CometAnywhere, I also cant compile on that PC, it crashes me out of CA. Which bit should I try & replace first, needless to say their hardware vendor is blaming Comet. WE swapped RAm today and it made no difference.
