Brian, I wouldn't give up so fast on this idear. Maybe its the compiler that needs to "register" the include files in the QDIR.DIR (which by the way, we are hoping to get rid of).
If Steve is like me, all the usefiles are either on the same directory as my sources or in a directory of their own.
The compiler could easily scan the source directory for the missing usfiles and/or could be instructed to look at specific locations.
