Comet's own 'Print' (print screen) uses Window's Print dialog. I now see the difference but I question the unnecessary complications of having three different printers configuration for Windows printer. The options available in Print Setup and not in the regular Print are all available through the Properties button next to the printer name.
I don't really see the need to have multiple configuration options to confuse everyone and I can't imagine the Print to File option ever beeing a probelm for anyone (who can ready that stuff anyway?)
I'd vote for just changing it and make Comet one more bit more Windows compliant. It's all "About Face".
