Our experience is that pdfFactory is faster and certainly less expensive. They appear to accomplish the same thing. Only limitation of pdfFactory we've noticed is that you have to launch the doc manually after printing it. Adobe has a setting to choose launch or not. We included support for Adobe since we know many users already own it. We did our testing on version 6.0 standard edition.
