Steve - one scenario - after you create the .csv file in the comet folder, use the copyfile instruction and copy the file .csv file only to another name or the same name on another folder (preferably a non-comet folder) that Great Plains would pick up, update and then erase, not affecting the original comet file at all.
another scenario might be, use the dos instructions to erase the .csv file and then delete the record manually from your qdir files.
