Here's my scenario.
I create a CSV file. Great Plains gets the file, updates their data and ERASES my file.
Next time I want to write the file I have a QDIR and no data file.
I can not seem to trap the open. Comet seems to crash regardless of whether or not I put an exception on the open. FSTAT seems to tolerate the QDIR but no file condition.
Attached is my solution to this issue. As you can see it is the stereotypical spaghetti bowl of code.
I sure would like an idea on a better solution.
