This is the same error that Jeff Cinelli reported back on January 13th (I think).
We think this has something to do with your directory aliases. Since this is the first time that COSW was run on this machine, I think it is trying to create some folder. Check the directory aliases and see if all of the folders really exist. This may help us find the problem.
