I found the problem with using .\ as an initial path designation for a spool. It is fixed in build 326. (not released yet). When writing to a spool, comet is very strict about matching the path of the designated spool ant the paths specified for each of trhe users’ DABS. By the time comet finished starting up, the .\ in the directory paths was converted to the full windows path name. We neglected to do the same with spooler specs.
Since j:\comet\spool was not mentioned in any of your directory specs, I was looking there and not at the one single spool that should have worked.
