I am running a non beta 2005. I have documention going thru - comet security server - update license certicate - as follows
Comet Security Server 32
license in use Comet anywhere 1 - Comet total 1
License Update - License was succesfully updated
I think this may be the problem:
I run Comet on my D:\ drive D:\comet
On my C: driver I found a CometServices in a "services" in Control Panel. I tired to shut it down but it is hard coded for the C:\ drive. I think this could be the problem. Why it comes up in 2005 I have no idea. Comet 2004 worked fine. On the C: it points to C:\CometServics- It does not allow any changes. I disabled it but it came right back up in the C: drive.
