UltraEdit and Seek

I love UltraEdit. But I dearly miss the Seek command in CED.
Has anyone given any thought to how to work around this? I thought about project files that would include the Usefiles, but that would double the number of files in my directories and make for additional maintenance problems and, finally, lead to confusion when adding or removing a Usefile. Whew.
Could we build a seek somehow, or create a temporary project file that opened all the Usefiles? Somehow I think other languages must have similar issues, but I don't see anything on IDM web site addressing this.
Any ideas? Any one?
