Wouldn't it be something if Comet replaced the central loop of a program, that 10% of the code that runs 90% of the time, with real machine language code. Comet would not have to decode, interpret, the P code that is what we call an object program.
Think about the speed improvement.
Would it be practical? Could it be done? Would the savings be worth the effort? I don't have a clue, but the idea is fun to think about.
