Well it does bring up the question about the viability of background processing. I've been considering eliminating backgrounds and just letting the odometer whiz by. When I start my Visual Studio work, I thought that a "progress bar" of some kind might be nice.
At LV the topic came up, sort of, when Jim was listing some of his ideas for Comet 2006. If we could launch extra Cosw sessions, maybe in an "invisible" window. If a problem comes up, the E7, E33, or E36 logic make the window visible, if necessary, and display the "who has" info. Once completed, the Cosw session would close itself.
