PDF Printer (pdffactory) & Escape Sequences

I am writing text to a PDF printer which contains embedded Escape Sequences. The document is an invoice. I tried a couple of DES programs in the configuration without success. How can I get the PDF printer to execute the escape sequences correctly and produce the document the way I want it ie. with expanded/condensed print and different fonts etc.?
