My answer, knowing absolutely nothing about the system in question, is 'Enter a new invoice identical to the one confirmed and throw the erroneous inoice in the round file.'
How else can you undo/reverse the inventory updates, sales analysis numbers, commission reports, GL postings, etc. etc. etc.??
