You might also want to verify & remove if found a pointer in the R0 (read that as R-Zero) file, where the key would probably be 'R0' + the order # (ORNBR$).
However, if in the meanwhile the Invoice Printing program (RP) was executed, the Order Status would now be 'B' and a new pointer could also be in the pointer file R0A with the same key. If the post-invoice update was executed (RPU) then you're e bit more up the creek and I would recommend a credit note and a new order.
All this information will be more or less accurate depending on our much related to the BICARSA package your program are.
In order to locate the Order Status flag, you will need to dig into the source code of your system. The order status is located in the O1A file, some file have an 'A' and a 'B' record for each order, the status if on the 'A' record. The key for the O1A is the order number (usually in the form 123456-00 - sometimes followed by A or B - no space).
In order to find the position within the record, you may want to look at your data dictionary thru program QFILES or locate the source usefile that would normally be called something like %O1A or -FILEO1A or QFILEO1A or [O1A.
Needless say I had a chuckle reading your message. About 12 years ago one of my customers hired a new controller and in order to get familiar with the system, simply ran EVERY programs on the menu system. Staff got a hint of what was happening when stack of reports showed up on the report printers. Unfortunately, he had had enough time to run half way through the month-end procedure (including updates & purges). All of this the middle of a month!
