Clack Corp just got a Comet system and we are trying to get the clients to
work, 2 of them.
Attached is the Comet ini and the Coscstart log showing what is going on
They can run comet from the server, no problem. When they try running it
from the Client
they get as far as shown, and then it just hangs or stops. When they
shutdown the Security
server on the server, it will show that all the folders were accessed OK,
but then they get the
message no security server. The shortcut from the client is:
Q:\Comet\Comet.exe /PN=ST1
Q is mapped to E$ on the server. We tried taking the $ off the folders in
the INI file, but then
they are not found. E is shared as E$. They set up an IP address. The
server IP address
is correct, per Dave. The server physical drive is E shared as E$.
I would appreciate any suggestions you may have, we have tried as much as we
can think of
the past two days.
